Thought for Today

I start every morning by reading poetry and sifting out my favorite thoughts. Here is the thought for today.

"...there exist a thousand unbreakable links between each of us and everything else.... The farthest star and the mud at our feet are a family...."

Winter Hours by Mary Oliver

I love this thought....really LOVE it.
But even more so, I loved reading about your childhood playing in your grandmother's garden! Magical.
I was wondering, I know you ordered it....did you watch 'The Foy and the Child' yet? The most beautiful movie I've ever seen.
Thinking of you, wishing you a rejuvinating weekend...

I love that, Sharon. It's all those unbreakable links that make the cyber connection so strong, I think.

Dawn,

You're amazing. Jeff JUST posted this and you were right there in a lightning flash with your thoughts and Kiki's face.

Yes, remember last September we watched it and I wrote you about it. LOVELY. We have intimate contact
with foxes at our little cottage in Maine.

More later,

Sharon

Oh I'm so silly, yes, now I remember. Lately I have been forgetting things right after they happened. Actually, ever since our loss in November. It's strange. Almost as if that trauma effected my short-term memory!
I'm so glad you've seen it...maybe you can lend it to Sue? I was telling her about it today.
It's so funny Sharon...when it comes to you, I have the feeling there is alot of serendipity involved! I'm enjoying every minute of it...
love, dawn

Your home must be lovely and tranquil and I would love to have seen the magazine features. It reflects for sure the beautiful state of your mind and soul.

Great dragonfly macro!! And a true thought. It can be overwhelming to think how closely we are connected.
