Meanwhile, I Keep Dancing

"I get up. I walk. I fall down. Meanwhile, I keep dancing."
Daniel Hillel

Dear Friends,

Congratulations to Susan (My Mother's Apron Strings) who is the lucky winner of Marta McDowell's wonderful new book Beatrix Potter's Gardening Life. Susan dear, I don't think I have your new address. Please send it along.

Sending love across the miles,

What other choice is there?:)
I agree keep getting up while we can..

I once asked a woman who had great trouble walking if she needed any help.. she said no thank you and looked a little sad..I said does it hurt what you have? She said no..I had polio as a child..so one leg is off..etc..but she said I cannot say it is painful anymore.. I said you are so good to get out and about etc..
She said what other choice is there? We learn to live with things with the years..
We had such a nice deep chat in such few short minutes..

Your verse reminded me of her..right away..
She left a mark ..

All the very best to you and yours in 2014~Starting now:)

Dear Sharon, Wishing you the Happiest of New Years! I love the last post with DH Lawrence's quote of why must we grow up. I will be an official 'senior citizen' this year and keep asking myself 'how can that be? since I do not feel like I have grown up yet!' Best of health and much joy to you and yours throughout 2014! Love, Carol

Can;t wait to check out this new book written by Marta McDowell... I spent some time across the pond over the holidays immersed in Susan Branch's A Fine Romance! Loved it so much I'm going to read it again...
Sending love and dandelion wishes for a fabulous, and healthy new year!
