A Room of One's Own-Mockingbird Studio

I love all of your e-mails and posts! Thank you for making me feel like a part of a Walton-ish family–something I always wanted. Your comments feed my spirit and remind me of the words of scholar and organic gardening champion Sir Albert Howard. He believed in The Law of Return. What you take you've got to give back or the Wheel of Life won't turn. Some of you write that I have given to you, but in truth, you give to me and keep my wheels turning.

A few of you have asked about my work space, which has been a blessing in this new town life of mine. At "Seekhaven," I worked in a lovely, but tiny (7' x 9') second story sunroom that allowed me a view of gardens and wildlife. Here I have my own little studio with space, bookshelves, a fireplace, kitchenette, and room for storing and cutting paper, paints, inks, computer area, and much more than I ever expected. I call my playhouse Mockingbird Studio for the two mockers who rule my garden and watch over my life.
